Almost a Hero

by James J. Dalton, II & P.J. Renfroe

Called D.R. (Dead Reckoning) by his Marine buddies from his Vietnam days, Jacob Reynolds had an uncanny knack for honing in on an often invisible enemy. He soon discovers that this new enemy is a subtle, elusive group of high powered lawyers and businessmen who seem intent on destroying not only him but also his friends and family. To meet this challenge, D.R. must find a more subtle and sophisticated method of warfare. Using every trick and tactic he learned while fighting the VietCong, D.R. sets about taking them down one by one as he strives to learn the identity of the elusive man who is pulling the strings of this subtle, yet powerful group.
