This latest book, much like the first three in the Snag and Me series, is written with humor and from the heart. Although fiction, the stories are drawn from the author’s life while growing up in the rural areas of Alabama during the 1940s, in the author’s words, “...with a loving mother, a job-hopping father, lots of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins, and of course many friends. The only way to have fun for poor folks was using your imagination, and that worked overtime for me.”
This book is different in that it is dedicated to a little boy named Chris, who recently died after a long bout with cancer. The proceeds of the book will go to a special fund set up in Chris’ name for cancer research.
