Jesus Christ commissioned the worldwide gospel, a radical message of repentance and salvation through Him alone, prophesying that believers would manifest five accompanying supernatural signs, healing being one. It happened as He said, and the book of Acts is a testament to that. But in the 21st century most gospel ministry is by message only, or with social gospel signs, even amongst churches that experienced a healing revival last century. This book compares New Testament thoughts on healing to beliefs of some Christians, churches, mission agencies, and healing agencies in the UK. It concludes the absence of one of the most demonstrative gospel signs may be a result of trepidation and misguidedness and calls for the body of Christ to consider if we are doing ministry the way Christ intended.
